Key milestones
2011
Scope launches their next phase of UBI solutions, a BI tool that combines vehicle usage data from the Mhub 837, the prevailing environmental conditions from other sources (road speed limits from map data, weather etc) and applicable information regarding the profile of the insured to create an overall risk matrix.
2010
Scope Technology proudly launches the MHub 837 series which is an OBD II GPS/GSM device with a self-calibrating 3 axis accelerometer, this product features advanced pattern recognition algorithms for ground-breaking driver management, while still being the world’s most price competitive fleet management unit.
Established Drive Profiler, a JV between Scope and Hollard insurance, leveraging both companies' respective strengths offering a comprehensive UBI solution
2009
Scope Technology expands into Latvia establishing an advanced research and development office. Scope’s support team expands and introduces a 24 hour, 7 day week support team.
Scope partners with a leading Chinese company and commences with distribution in China
2008
Scope signs regional deals with G4S for Asia and the Middle East Regions and further expands its coverage across Latin America.
2007

2006
BOC (Linde Group) chooses Scope products for its global fleet, implementing UK, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malasia and South Africa within 18 months.
Scope launches its third generation platform for hardware and middleware. The new hardware platforms introduce the concepts of 5-year autonomous trailer units, least-cost routing and DCT (Dynamic Customisable Triggers). The middleware introduces Fully Automated Unit Manager and third party hardware integration.
