The MHub 628 is a mobile phone work force management application. The application is utilised in conjunction with a centralised planning and scheduling platform, allowing for optimised management of jobs sent to the mobile resources, on-line status of each job and real time location of the resources.

Location

Using either an internal or Bluetooth enabled Global Positioning System (GPS) the application automatically reports the location of the mobile resource in accordance with user defined intervals, or per polling request generated by the back office platform.

Job Management

All planned jobs for a given mobile resource are sent to the MHub 628 application, providing the resource with a real time view of all allocated jobs for the selected period. On arrival to the job destination the resource is presented with a message prompting arrival acknowledgement and relevant job details. Status of the job and route status is continuously communicated to the back office platform providing on-line view of actual vs. plan allowing for proactive handling of exceptions and ad-hoc job assignment.
