Scope wins the water utility Government tender in Botswana
Scope and its local partner in Botswana have won the water utility Government tender in Botswana. Under this tender, all the water utility vehicles in Botswana need to be installed with the Scope system. Scope solution extensively covers all the requirements laid out in the tender including usage of Geofences for location management and automatic fuel level calculation via an analogue extender to prevent fuel theft.

UMB in Romania expands implementation of Scope solutions
UMB, one of the biggest transporters in Romania for construction materials has further expanded implementation of Scope solution with additional 250 vehicle installations. The project started in early 2010 with 300 vehicles which were deployed with MHub 828C hardware unit to detect fuel consumption and fuel theft.

The Scope Solution has been deployed in Patagonia, Argentina across various mining companies. Either via Iridium or GSM networks, the solution provides real time location, hours of operation reports and driver identification for yellow machineries. Scope’s solution have been selected by Avis for deployment across their fleet in Lesotho. The solution will provide real time reporting and monitoring to prevent drivers from utilizing the fleet outside a pre-defined timeframe. This will be implemented by installing the driver keys with immobilization and assigning time profiles to the associated drivers.

Scope’s solutions have been chosen by regional franchises of Hertz and Avis in South America. Scope will provide information including mileage, maintenance alerts, fuel level, RPM monitoring and MIS reports including fuel consumption, driver behaviour and vehicle maintenance reports.

G4S cash will install 600 vehicles with the solution. Scope’s solution will provide information relating to delivery and pick ups to G4S control centre. Scope shall also deploy and provide tools to the control centre to remotely lock doors and safes and to immobilize the vehicle based on security and threat assessments.

Scope Technologies launches Driver Scoring platform for the insurance market
Scope Technologies, a global leader in telematics and usage based insurance technology has announced the launch of its second generation driver scoring platform for insurance companies offering Usage Based Insurance (UBI) products to their customers.
