    Transport and Logistics

    Scope Technologies has engineered a comprehensive set of solutions for the Transport and Logistics industry. The solution includes the following elements:

    Cold Chain Management

    Scope Technologies have developed a Cold Chain Management solution that enables real-time tracking of refrigerated vehicle temperature and reporting of variances against upper and lower limits in this regard, as well as providing history by sensor. Our customers are able to use our technology to immediately address technical issues as well as provide comfort to their customers of their ability to maintain the cold chain.

    Sensors can also be added to the vehicle loading doors to monitor the opening and closing of doors to ensure they are not left open and track the speed with which the target tempurature is reached after the doors are closed.

    Generators

    In some regions where generators and pumps need to be installed at unmanned locations, issues arise with theft of generator fuel, challenges relating to remote maintenance and so forth. A unique generator monitoring solution has been developed by Scope technologies eliminating the need for on site guarding. A centralized control room is able to receive real-time alerts via the web-based Scope MZone application indicating unauthorized access and tampering, fuel theft, fuel level low alerts and the opening and closing of access gates to the generator or pump station.

    The Oil and Gas industry is highly regulated with a focus on safety regulations. When deploying a telematics solution in such an environment a business must consider factors such as Petro-chemical installation standards, telematics unit compliance with various technical standards to ensure zero risk of igniting dangerous fuel or gas vapours.     ReadyMix

    The cement industry requires a cement truck planning an delivery solution that can ensure compliance with daily plans of readimix load delivery to site. If a truck arrives too late or the readimix "pour" is delayed the cement can crack when drying, and result in the whole block being removed. As cement companies strive to reduce or eliminate such issues they look to smarter solutoins to assist them. Scope Technologies have developed a readimix solution which allows for planning (or integration into planning tools sich as Command Alcon), tracking againt defined plan and alerting to avoud delays causing massive costs to the business.

Bus operators looking at bus scheduling and telematics solutions need to consider ideal bus routes to service demand (be they short or long trips), bus adherence to time schedule and related customer service challenges, passenger safety and bus maintenance planning.
